Reference Data
A tenant-wide library of reusable reference items and templates, shared across every project in your workspace.
What it's for
Reference Data is where Lead Analysts and Analysts maintain reusable, standardised content — roles, personas, locations, business rules, and similar reference items — so it doesn't need to be re-created inside every project.
This is different from the AI Knowledgebase: Reference Data is structured reference content you maintain directly, while the AI Knowledgebase is documents and guidance the AI reads from when generating suggestions.
Categories
Every workspace starts with three built-in categories — Business Rules, Personas, and Locations — that exist automatically, before you've added anything. You can add your own custom categories too, for whatever kind of reusable reference content is useful to your organisation: they work exactly the same way as the built-in ones, just not pre-created for you.
Reference Data isn't limited to those three example categories, and the AI doesn't treat them specially — every category's items are fed into AI generation the same way, and the AI judges relevance itself rather than following a fixed list of which category matters to which module.
How it feeds AI
Reference Data isn't just for browsing — every item is automatically fed into AI generation across every project in your workspace. An item's name becomes preferred terminology, and any aliases or synonyms you record on it become normalisation rules the AI follows automatically, the same way preferred/banned terms from the AI Knowledgebase do.
This applies workspace-wide, not just to the project you happen to be working in — a Reference Data item created for one project's use is available to every project's AI generation.
