About Us

Why we built Requio

Requio exists because too much good project work gets undone by requirements that were never captured properly in the first place.

Founder, Requio

Requio comes out of 15 years working as a Business Analyst across multiple industries — different companies, different methodologies, different tooling, but the same recurring problem: requirements documentation that was sporadic, inconsistent, and often scattered across whatever mix of documents, spreadsheets, and tickets a project happened to have inherited.

Some projects had detailed, well-structured requirements. Others had a page of bullet points and a lot of assumptions. Almost none of it was consistent from one project to the next, even within the same organisation. And the cost of that inconsistency rarely showed up where you’d expect it — it showed up much later, as rework: features built against requirements nobody had properly validated, edge cases nobody had asked about, acceptance criteria that meant different things to the business and to the delivery team.

None of that rework was really a delivery problem. It was a requirements problem, and it was almost always avoidable — if the requirements had been captured properly, consistently, and completely upfront. That gap, repeated across enough projects and enough industries, is what Requio was built to close.

Requio gives Business Analysts a structured, standardised way to build a Digital Requirements Pack (DRP) for every project — with AI guardrails that check for gaps, ambiguity, and conflicts while the requirements are being written, not after they’ve already shipped. The goal isn’t to replace the analyst’s judgement. It’s to make sure the basics — clarity, completeness, consistency — are never the reason a project goes off track.

What we believe

Structure over chaos

Every project deserves the same rigour, whether it’s a two-week change or a multi-year programme. Requio gives every requirement a consistent home instead of leaving it to whichever template a BA reached for that day.

Catch problems before they cost you

Gaps, conflicts, and vague acceptance criteria are cheapest to fix the moment they’re written down — not three sprints later when a developer builds the wrong thing. Requio’s AI guardrails are built to catch them there.

Built by a BA, for BAs

Requio isn’t a generic documentation tool with "requirements" bolted on. Every workflow was shaped by what actually slows analysts down day to day.

Requio is built and operated by Requio Ltd, based in London. Requio Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16755307), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. VAT registration number GB 531 0644 28.
