Stakeholders & RACI
Maps all stakeholders with roles and involvement levels. Clarifies who is Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed.
AI in this module
How AI suggestions work
Click "Get AI Suggestions" to have the AI draft or improve the whole stakeholder table in one pass, grounded in the DRP's other content (project sponsors, business objectives, and similar) and any AI Knowledgebase documents for the project.
The suggested table appears as a single card in the right-hand panel — it shows how many rows are being suggested rather than the full table inline. Click "Apply" to replace your current table with the AI's draft; nothing changes until you do.
The AI can only name stakeholders it has grounding for. If specific people aren't mentioned anywhere in the DRP or Knowledgebase, expect generic role placeholders (e.g. "Project Sponsor") rather than real names — replace these with actual people before marking the module complete.
Quality checks
What "Check Quality" looks for here
Exactly one Accountable. Flags any area of work with more than one Accountable, or none — the single most common RACI failure mode.
Real people or roles. Flags a stakeholder row with no evidence elsewhere in the DRP.
What it captures
Every stakeholder on the project, mapped against a RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrix.
Using this module
This module is a single table: one row per stakeholder, with their Name, Role/Title, Department, RACI value, and any Notes.
- 1Use "+ Add row" to add a stakeholder, and the ✕ on a row to remove one.
- 2Set the RACI column from the dropdown for each stakeholder — Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, or Informed.
- 3Use Notes for anything that doesn't fit the other columns — a stakeholder's specific concern, availability, or escalation path.
Review and approval
Reviewed as a whole, when its review level is Module-level: its reviewers and approver cover the entire stakeholder table, assigned from the project's Modules tab, or overridden on this DRP's Review Assignments tab. Once submitted it is read-only; to change it, press "Reopen to edit", which cancels the round and returns it to In progress.
Tips
- "Export CSV", at the top of the page, downloads this table as a spreadsheet file — handy for sharing it with someone who works in Excel.
- Keep exactly one "Accountable" per decision area — a RACI with multiple accountable parties for the same thing tends to cause the exact confusion it's meant to prevent.
- If a stakeholder isn't Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, or Informed for anything meaningful, they may not need a row at all.
